KCS COMPANY PROFILE
(ISO 9001:2000 CERTIFIED)
KCS was founded in 1984 and is housed in a historical harbour
building at the Kuipershaven in Dordrecht since 1986. KCS is specialized
in manufacturing small to large numbers of electronic equipment.
The whole process of design up to the end-product can be done by KCS.
Conventional assembly is monitored with a Marconi pin bed tester.
SMT assembly is monitored with an image recognition system developed by KCS.

Customers
KCS has directly or indirectly worked for or still is working
for are
(among others): Installatietechniek P.A. Verkerk BV, Rijkswaterstaat,
Stork Infratechniek BV, Stork Marine Solair BV, IKU Group
(automotive), WOW! Control Technology and many others.

SMT/conventional assembly
The core activity of KCS is the assembly of printed circuit
boards. Conventional as
well as 'surface mount technique' (SMT). The 'surface mount' components are
placed
by fully automated 'pick and place' machines. An image recognition system provides,
through the aid of cameras, a high precision placement of the SMT components
by the
'pick and place' equipment. Inline soldering is done by means of a reflow process.
Conventional soldering is done using 'double wave' soldering equipment.

SMD Assembly
Starting from 1996 KCS also assembles and disassembles single
unit SMT components
for the use in repair or recycle facilities. Highly advanced equipment allows
KCS to place
or remove 'fine-pitch' integrated circuits such as 'Ball Grid Array' components.
R & D
With its team of Design Engineers, KCS has developed a large
number of printed
circuit boards, electronic devices and programs throughout the years. KCS has
been
developing products for several industry branches such as telecommunications,
automotive industry, farming, ceramics etcetera.
Consumer products
Besides the manufacture of industrial electronics, KCS also
develops
electronics and programs for the consumer market.
